What is Copy Writing?

You know since this is a journey I'm going through and I'm not a world class Marketer like

• Al Ries

• Jordan Belfort (A Seller, But it's still marketing)

• Daniel H. Pink

• Dan S. Kennedy

• Gary Vee

• Russel Brunson (Never Read any of his books)

• Jeb Blount (Same thing, Seller but still marketing)

who can define this so elegantly, analytically and with charisma. But in the end I'm under the same boat as you and I live in the same realm as you. We live in a house/apartment (Or even a car), we need to pay bills, were concerned about getting where we want to go in business and so on.

I'm hoping that would be an enough reason for you to stick around.

So let's see, what is Copy Writing? The best way I can describe it from the studying, going out to Business Owners, and really experience it, It's all about Writing to Sell.

Sell what? Well you tell me.

Do you want me to try your cookies? How would you tell me that it's worth my time?

Do you want to promote your new business? Entice me to go check it out

I want you to hire me as your Copy Writer. Well what its in it for me?

This is probably the best way I can explain it in a nutshell. How can I persuade you, entice you, make you curious to go and buy my Product/Service? And it doesn't end there, how can I use words to make a story, to lead you in the forest and bring you out with such an adventure that you want to go back in?

Design can do a lot yes, that's how we begged our parents to go buy us that awesome toy we saw in an ad (TV, Youtube, Instagram etc...)

However

Was there a time when a story book got you so hooked that you needed to hear it from beginning to end? To be able to imagine that story from a 3rd person view and see the characters, the environment and the atmosphere? and not only that, did you want to hear that story again? I hope so.

A Toy? Only lasts about a week and we go on to the next one.

This is what Copy Writing does. Words that Sell.
